Jefferson County Food Bank Association Launches Search for Executive Director
JEFFERSON COUNTY, WA, August 2026 — After successfully bringing multiple standalone food bank operations together into one organization in 2023, Jefferson County Food Bank Association (JCFBA) is entering an exciting new chapter and seeks a collaborative, compassionate, and visionary Executive Director who can balance thoughtful innovation with the grassroots values and community spirit that have defined JCFBA for decades.
Currently operating out of 7 locations, 5 days a week, JCFBA anticipates ongoing expansion of services as the number of Jefferson County residents experiencing food insecurity continues to grow. JCFBA’s new Executive Director will join an organization with a highly motivated, 300-strong volunteer base, dedicated staff, and an annual operating budget and in-kind support valued at approximately $3 million.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to expand local food procurement, strengthen warehousing and transportation, and build partnerships that improve food access throughout Jefferson County, while sharpening strategic direction, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and building alignment across the Board, staff, and volunteer base.
Jefferson County Food Bank Association is a 501c3 nonprofit providing nutritious food with dignity, respect, and care to anyone in need in Jefferson County, Washington.
