Our 2025 Annual Report Is Here
We're proud to share our very first annual report!
In 2025, JCFBA distributed over one million pounds of food across Jefferson County, serving up to 1,000 households every week through four food bank locations and new pop-up sites. We did it with a team that is 98% volunteers, 293 of them who remain the heart of everything we do.
The year brought real challenges: SNAP benefit cuts, the loss of key USDA programs, and the sudden closure of the third-party warehouse we depended on. We responded by building out our own centralized warehouse and refrigeration at Tri-Area, increasing our food budget by 36%, purchasing over $70,000 in locally grown food, and expanding our distribution network. What could have been a setback became a strength.
