Grateful to Our Growers
Food Bank Growers is a volunteer-driven nonprofit growing and donating fresh, organic fruits and vegetables across Jefferson County, WA. With 11 gardens, an orchard, and 100 dedicated volunteers, they delivered 40,000 pounds of produce last year to over 30 local organizations including food banks in Port Townsend, Tri-Area, Quilcene, and Brinnon. Fighting food insecurity one harvest at a time.
Neighbors Giving Back: Tetris Masters at JCFBA
Meet Wayne, Keith, and Carol! Retired neighbors who show up every Wednesday to load food trucks for Jefferson County food banks. These reliable volunteers move boxes like Tetris masters, keeping Quilcene and Coyle supplied without fanfare.
Our 2025 Annual Report Is Here
In 2025, JCFBA distributed over 1 million pounds of food to Jefferson County households, powered by 293 volunteers. Despite SNAP cuts and USDA program losses, we expanded our warehouse, grew our network, and increased our food budget by 36%. Read our first-ever annual report!
